Home visits provide the same expertise as traditional clinics but in the comfort of your home—eliminating travel, waiting rooms, and exposure to illness. Unlike clinic visits, house calls offer extended one-on-one time with the provider, ensuring all your health concerns are thoroughly addressed without time constraints.

Is it easy to get an appointment?
Yes. We currently accept new patients and offer a variety of times for appointments including after-hours and weekends. We have same-day and next-day appointments available.
Does Emerald City Care provide primary care services?
Yes, we provide primary care services. For primary care needs such as wellness exams, screening, weight loss, vaccine counseling, referrals, and prescription refills, you can schedule a home visit or telehealth appointment.
Can I call Emerald City Care for urgent care needs?
You can schedule an at-home or telehealth appointment for your urgent care needs. If you need an in-person assessment, tests, or treatment you will need to schedule a home visit. Our services are perfect for non-life-threatening conditions such as colds, sore throat, ear infections, rashes, skin infections, minor skin cuts, gastrointestinal issues, migraines, and urinary tract infections.
Does Emerald City Care help with life-threatening emergencies?
No, we do not provide emergency room services. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
How long do home visits take?
Home visits take as long as needed to address all your wellness needs. On average, a home visit takes about one hour.
Does Emerald City Care accept health insurance?
We do not accept insurance and patients are responsible for payment in full at the time of service. We can provide you with a receipt of services that may be submitted to your insurance for reimbursement. However, payment from your insurance company is not guaranteed since Medicare and some health insurance plans do not permit self-billing. You should contact your insurance for self-billing eligibility and instructions.
What payment methods do you accept?
Please be aware that no insurance is accepted. Payment for the appointment is due at the time of service by credit or debit card, Zelle, or cash. Payments for telehealth appointments are completed via a payment link that is sent to the patient's phone before the appointment.
Can Emerald City Care assist with prescription refills?
Yes, we can refill standard prescriptions. A home visit or video appointment is required for a prescription refill. We do not refill controlled substances.
